The more i think about why people hate art, the more i believe that they do not really hate the art they just may not understand the skill or talent the artist is pursuing. People may not see the interest or emotions of the artist and alot of works of art consist in the emotions and interests of the artists. Maybe the real reason on why people "hate" art is just the fact that they have a hard time seeing and sharings the emotions with others.

You asked the question, what is Art? Art refers to different ranges of human activites, creations, and expressions that are appealing to the senses or emotions of an individual. To me, the word art can be expressed by music, literature, and other forms. Art is mostly used to refer to the visual arts, such as paintings, suclptures, and sketchings. I refer to art as a skill of experience, study or observation.  I feel that art can be a talent to some, but a learning skill to others.
